A nice, clean win yesterday. What do you think of Durbin trying to take home and getting tagged out? I think it was a fine play, I'm generally okay with being aggressive on the basepaths and forcing defenders to make a play.

I'm fine with that Durbin play.

He's hit .886 in June and .909 in his last 19 games.

April>May>June

.524>.540>.886 Durbin

.721>.687>.646 Bregman (.682 in last 19 games)

Both are excellent defensive 3Bmen.

Anthony Seigler hitting lead off and Mickey Gasper batting 3rd. This team is a joke

Sell baby sell.

by all means....lets trade Gray, Contreras, Chapman, Duran, etc for a entire farm full of utility players like Seigler. i can't wait to see what kind of garbage Bresbot trades for.

I’m not sure I trust Breslow to sell these assets, even if he acquired anything good he’ll flip it for nothing.

Well If thats the case I’d trust him to sell them…..just not to turn around and flip them.

5 batters below .650, including #3 Gasper and #5 Duran. Very sad.

That being said, having Yoshida, Monasterio, Eaton or Narvaez instead is no great improvement, if any.

Thanks Brez!

The AL is a joke.

Yup.

Here are the AL OPS numbers of the top 135 batters by PAs (9 players x 15 teams)

Top 15: .854-1.054

2nd 15: .801-.845

3rd 15: .774-.800 (Top tier .800+)

4th 15: .745-.770

Mid 15: .724-.743

6th 15: .695-723 (Middle tier can be under .700!!!)

7th 15: .659-.691

8th 15: .613-.658

9th 15: .486-.609

The lowest 30 AL batters are under .660. The lowest 1/3 are under .690!

Brett Sullivan, catcher for the Rockies, must be traded to Seattle and be Gilbert's personal catcher. That would be one musical battery.

Sullivan and Gilbert ? What is significant in that duo?

Gasper is a living example of mean reversion.

Siegler is an example of "not a leadoff hitter"

Was Tolle's 1st inning the most efficient of any Sox starter this season? I'm guessing yes

Now 4 outs on 7 pitches but 2 big shots to warning track

Man, these professional ballplayers have good looking wives and girlfriends no matter how unattractive they are.

Professional athletes also for the most part have crap taste in movies and music.

Diffence between Contreras and Devers ? Willson plays 3 positions at once: 1B, foul territory and short RF

Definitely wasn’t expecting Nate Eaton to pimp a homer off Gilbert

He  needed to do something or his tryout was going to expire

Eaton put that deep in the seatons

Seattle's booth was in shock. They still haven't come to grips that the Sox are a respectable road team. Do some research morons.

I am only assuming Contreras has a tender hammie on Fathers Day.

This guy can play but has some characteristics of a mean regressor
