Not much of a baserunner.

I think you will see more and more teams running  on our young LH'ers and especially when Gasper  is catching

Leads to a run with 2 out single

Nice catch by Eaton. Btw, does Eaton also play SS?

Too bad he doesn't know how to run the bases.

How in the world is that scored a base hit. Mayer looked like a scared little leaguer trying to get out of the way. That is an error all the way. Baseball's scoring has totally changed to favor the hitter and not make the fielders feel bad. F**K the pitchers ERA.

With Gasper, who appears to have run out of gas, batting next, IMHO, it was worth the risk.

He has to take a look back, as Lou Merloni correctly pointed out. He also has to read the ball and the outfielder's position.

Down 2…. That’s been the kiss of death to this team….  Hopefully we can break tendency here.

The more at bats Duran has, the more his trade value decreases.

He has improved greatly but the trade still looks horrible.

When Monasterio is our go to pinch hitter to try to tie the score you know we suck and have no intention on trying to win.

This Roman Anthony situation is getting ridiculous. How soft is this guy. Its like Casas in 2024.

I've been referring to both Mayer and Anthony as the Coal Dust Twins.

He has improved greatly? Are we talking about the same player?

He has raised his batting average over 40 points and is showing some power. All in about 3-4 weeks. I would say that is great improvement. Prior to that, he was the worst hitter in baseball.

I was confused because you attached your post about Durbin to my Duran comment.
