Actually, their fundamentals for poor hitting seems to be working fine.

Durbin gets a soft hit the first time up then reverts to his usual self with a strike out looking and a DP. The worst hitting third baseman the Sox have ever had.

I can't prove this, but I believe no team in MLB reaches two outs faster than the Sox offense.

I agree with that, but he may be the best defensive 3rd baseman the Sox have had in a very long time.
