Tampa Bay leads the ML in starter ERA 3.03 9-1 in one run games, 25-5 when they score 4 runs

Not pitching Bello would help. Just play the numbers. Crossing fingers is not a strategy.

Combined 2.72 ERA for Tolle (2.05), Suarez (2.44), Gray (2.93) and Early (3.21).

For all our depth at the start of the year, we literally have no one to start if bello goes to the DL with the “Fenway flu”.

A lot of that depth was overrated.  The list included Sandoval, Houck and Crawford, who were far from sure things.

That is true!  Sandoval and Crawford were definitely ghosts in the machine.

Both Crawford and Sandoval were projected to be ready by the end of 2025.

I had hopes one would be ready by opening day. I'm not sure why I keep falling for these projected ETAs.
