Remember when no one could wait for Mayer to assault the Bigs , then it was Anthony .

The reality is that the Sox havr not graduated a true stud to the parent team

which means the Sox scouting sucks big green slimy donkey d*#ks!

I haven't given up on fragile Anthony, but he and Mayer haven't exactly been the Gold Dust Twins, The Sequel.

Not even the reverse jinx is working with this team, they have yet to prove me WRONG when I have said games over while they still had a "chance".

I called it over when it was 0-0

Once again, the offense was pathethic. Against a guy with a +5.0 ERA.

They lost to a rag arm with a +6 ERA in the first game.

There just isn't a starter bad enough that this team can score crooked numbers against.

I would have won 10 K out of 50 bucks If the Sox had won or lost only by 1 but of course they had to lose by 2 LOL. It was a 9-game parlay. Just failed on this one. Simply unbelievable.

How does Jim Rice keep a straight face on NESN postgame shows.

Papelbon is more generous with trashing them.

How about a broadcast where the Analytics department explains the reasons for deviations from the mean

Parlay's beyond 2 teams are suckers bets, straight bets only way to play. You are well ahead if you have bet the under straight on them this year. Tonight was 7.5 , never in doubt

The connections between 1918 and 2018  and what happened to the Red Sox after those years are interesting

From 1903-1918 the Sox won 5 championships. From 2004-2018 the Sox won 4 championships.

So, using my fingers and toes, the next Sox championship will be in the year 2104. And they will still be playing at Fenway.

And I will be all bones, but my hair and nails will continue to grow.

Just looked and today we went 7 and 3 good for 2100 and we lot the giants/dodgers over 8.5, been very lucky picking the White Sox, and also playing the National games over.

This game was difficult to watch.

The horse has been beaten over and over, but it just seems like the offense keeps needing further beatings.

The pen wasn't very helpful either, but it's hard to be too critical of Samaniego for giving up his first run of the season, and to a guy like Schwarber.

The D made some nice plays and then Story botches another play.

Another wasted gem by our rotation. Suarez must be thinking, WTF! 2.44 ERA and the team is 3-5 in his starts.

That is part of it, but we are referring to the ownership and players moved and the "reasons" for the players movements. Everyone knows about Ruth, but it went much deeper then just him. A current example is what The Sox got out of the Devers fiasco. This is the worst management the Sox have had in over a century, and it is not close.

Fortunately, the Sox are not the only shite team in the AL. There's plenty.

The FLOPS are one of the worst

I like low-risk high-reward bets. I have won few that way and yeah, lost a lot as well and several in dramatic fashion but my balance is positive. Way positive I would say. B

Ruth was worse than Devers.

Had you said the Betts fiasco, I'm listening.

To me, living through the period where we dismantled the 1975-1978 teams was the worst, and how they did it, too.

The manager hates Bill Lee- gone.

Cecil Cooper "can't hit" they said- gone for an over-the-hill George Scott.

Tiant plays for the Yanks.

They fail to offer Fisk a contract on the due date, making him a FA- gone and for nothing.

Trading away Fred Lynn, Burleson and the rest.

The list goes on and on. Those were just the high (low) lights.

The JH era is not worse than the late 70's to early '80's. It's not close, despite these last 5-6 years.

Another good job by a Sox starter wasted.

This is what makes the gut punch tougher to take.
