Giolito has been a pleasant surprise. Show me a post I wrote where I called Bello or Gio a bum.

Try to pay attention!

If someone is a bum-and we have plenty in this team-I’ll so label him, If not I won’t.

Once they're given the official FredLynn bum label can it ever be reversed?

Hudson is a mess over at third.  Costs us a run at home and then practically tackled Bregman because of his indecisiveness as the coach.  Unreal.

More than a few bad calls earlier in season too

To me the key, as with Bell-boy , is that he wasn't ready for the first inning.

Now the real problem isn't rookie Early. It's that a team competing for a playoff slot didn't make serious efforts to bolster the pitching

Disagree; if anything, he was too amped up.  He settled down and kept the game close.  Sox bats have to do something.

They would have to complete an application and submit to a rigorous interview

They have to stop making stupid mistakes. They already gave away at least two runs.

Is this close enough? "Bello sucks. Lots of potential. Crap pitcher."

Or try: "Just leave Giolito in there until his arm falls off, He’s useless anyway."

I think Cora put Abreu in the lineup too 'soon.'

Not much he can do except try to get through it.  Portland finished their season a week ago and Worcester finished today, so rehab games are not an option.

I was going to call golden sombrero on Abreu tonight but didn't want to do so before the 3rd K.

I realize they want/need him to get back to MLB speed for playoffs BUT, they need to make playoffs first.

Isn't  their. magic number 6 with 7 to go including tonight. Not a lot  of room. Maybe it's 5 since Guardians lost

I wonder what’s this team record when trailing. It seems like they never come back from 3 or more run deficit early. Would love to know their record .

Being a slow healer cost him and the team. Like I posted previously, next season he can slow heal on another team.

According to Merloni they have a 98% chance of making the playoffs. Per fangraphs.
Im not buying it. I’d say it’s closer to 25%. I think they’ll win maybe one game in Toronto and then Detroit will finish them off.

Somehow the Sox held serve during the month Abreu was out. Anthony as well. Not a great record but enough.

Could have played Eaton and let Abreu get some live  BP against our own throwers

The raw number is 6, but it’s really 5 since Detroit and Cleveland play 3 times starting Tuesday and one of them is going to lose twice.

How is Story not at third??

Probably had to hold briefly as the ball was hit in front of him.  Didn’t matter and actually helped the Sox since the throw home allowed Bregman to get to 3rd.
