Lowe failed to put the ball in play 3 times with 8 men on base, 3 on 3rd.

Nice pick up Brez

Well he did get Dustin May and Matz to shore up the playoff run.  Lowe is just the trifecta

How, unless you mean he might resembled Judge if Judge was trying to hit left handed.

You missed the punchline I posted. Please go back and check, although it's really not worth the trip.

His effort at the deadline can only be described as abysmal.

Overall, Matz has been fine.

And how would you assess the performance of the other M&M?

This strategy of dumpster diving for talent is pretty stupid. Hasn’t worked out for years.

Mantle & Maris? Mantle was a great switch hitter but a bad drunk. Maris was an excellent defensive RF, who I doubt ever had a drink in his religious life.

Only one thing worse that having Abreu on the IL--having him back in the lineup.  Both have been just awful.

Lowe is truly awful despite his unproductive. poorly timed hit

It should have set up 2nd and 3rd.  Not his fault Gonzalez was sent, and he did score the 1st run, so not unproductive.

The other 3 ABs were pathetic, not only because of the result, but they followed the exact same pattern.  Fastball up high to get ahead then soft stuff down that he swung over.

Duran misses a HR pitch for 13th K

Just shows not every mistake is a homer and not every homer is on a mistake.

Uceta looked like he had some pretty serious movement on those pitches.

Nice start to the inning. It would not shock me if the blue jays put this team out of its misery.

The Tigers will do that
