This team simply ain’t ready to compete against big boys as it is. It will take probably a couple of years to these youngsters to be ready if so unless they add a 800+ bat at 1B, a legit No. 2 SP and a reliever.

Said that why did we let Schwarber walk man?

Getting beat by better teams is nothing to be ashamed of .

The Sox are in the same ballpark as the Dodgers, but talent wise they're really not in the same ballpark.

How much better?   Going into this game the Dodgers were winning 58% of the time and the Sox 53%.  That difference is miniscule.

That said, tonight the Dodgers definitely look like the better team.

Same reason they let Beltre walk; pure stupidity.

One team has a shot at the WS. The other team has a shot at .500.

We haven’t faced a lot of good teams yet though. This week was a shower of reality.

58%=93 wins

53%=86 wins.

Miniscule?

I hope they do. Might be barely enough to reach the PO's.

They'd have to finish this season at 31-26. Seems doable as long as Crochet and Chapman can remain strong.

Aren’t the Sox 13-3 against the Rays and Yankees?

Calling the Rays and the Yankems good at this point of the season is quite a stretch. In fact, the Yankems may be in worse shape than the Sox.

A disappointing game.  Sox stink on their home field.
