I spoke too soon. He ends up walking the next sub .600 batter to load up the bases- then walks the #9 batter.

That may very well be the message Cora is sending to Breslow.  As Middlebrooks said, the matchup doesn’t matter if the pitcher isn’t throwing strikes.

In Buehler's defense a misplay by Eaton didn't help and the POS behind the plate squeezed him a few times.

Sad thing is he should have been out of the inning on the Eaton play.  OTOH, it took two tremendous plays to get the first two outs so maybe it evened up.
