The sun will not have set by the time the game starts, so is this a day game start for  Bello ?

The lights will be on , however, so here's hoping Brayan thinks it is a night game and pitches masterfully to get an essential win for the Red Sox.   OTOH, the batters will quickly realize they are back home at Fenway and may not hit well.   Look for the #2 slot in the lineup to carry the team tonight.

Looks like we need to score 6+ runs to win....here's the break out.

0-2  when scoring 0 runs (duh)

1-11   when scoring 1 run

4-10 when scoring 2 runs

5-23 when scoring 2 runs or less (-18)

7-4 when scoring 3 runs

5-4 when scoring 4 runs

4-6 when scoring 5 runs

21-37 when scoring 5 runs or less (-16)

19-5 when scoring 6+ runs

40-42 (our record is not good at 4 and 5 runs scored)

I don't disagree, but conversely, what is our team record, when we we allow 2-3 runs, 4-5 runs, and 6 or more runs?

(I can't find that info on B-R, anymore.)

We get a sweep and we're right back in it.

Is that a joke?

My guess is that the Jays will sweep US , not the other way around

Great play by Rafaela, but the throw was just a tad too far up the line.

Throwing all those low pitches to Kirk did not pay off because he fouled a bunch of them off.

Finally a 3d out with 2 on.  But 30 pitches and just 17 strikes.

Somebody help me here.

Bello gets the first out on 1 pitch , then gets the second out promptly.

But from there he goes 2 out single, SB, walk after multiple 3-2 pitches, rbi single on 3-2, and 3-2 for a 30 pitch first inning.

How do they do it this way ?

Crappy throw to home

Cant believe these bums are already losing. Not going to watch much more of these BUMS

If you're not being facetious, you're wrong.  That was a fantastic play by Rafaela to charge that ball, catch the bounce on the dead run, and make a great throw home, but a little too far up the line.

He made a crap throw home. A good throw would have nailed Guerrero

His issue has always been control.

Story will K.

Likely on a ball a foot off the plate

Story is truely helpless chasing the wide slider/sweeper.  AND he refuses to recognize it.

Trust me you can see the spin out of the hand from a pitcher, especially when he repeats the same pitch 3 times in one AB.

There was basically no play on that single, but he in fact made one.   He not only made a great play on the ball, but threw on a line to home plate.  It was just a tad too far to the right, but it was supposed to be to the right of home plate.  Given the nature of the play--charging the ball, catching the hop cleanly on the run, quickly throwing home, and throwing it at exactly the right height makes it a good throw.  Don't forget the baserunner was going on contact, so beating him to home plate was daunting.

No, he’s just a guy who relishes negativity.

Has he posted his “I’m outa here” message.

His numbers don't show it yet, but Anthony is the best hitter on the team.

I think so too.  Very poised at the plate.

There’s not much positive about these BUMS
