Looks like a pretty good crowd tonight, who so far are being cheated.

Only half of them; the other half are Blue Jays fans who came down.

That’s part of the Henry dilemma; the only thing that will affect his view is less people in the stands, but opponents fans keep filling up the stadium.

Actually, no.  The Sox average attendance has stayed around 32,500 for 4 seasons in a row, including this one.  In fact, this year and last year are almost identical, 32,800 per game.

Wouldn’t shock me to see Bello actually get through 6 allowing only the 3 runs for another “quality” start.

I believe a quality start s/b 2 earned runs or less through 5 innings.

I think the worst part about this team (aside from the fact that they are nearly all bums) is that they’re boring. They make the same mistakes over and over and over again. Too many errors (leading the league-AGAIN); swinging at balls a foot outside the strike zone; losing one run games; getting behind in the first inning; no power etc

BORING!

The stats now say that going 6 innings and giving up 3 runs is actually pretty good because the pitcher will have faced the batting order 3 times.   All pitchers turn into pumpkins the 3d time through the order.

I actually think a lot depends on what the pitcher is throwing and how well.

So far Berrios looks good for 12 or 13 innings.  That freaking slurve is killing us.

Rafaela didn’t bust it out of the box there, but that actually turned out to be fortuitous; LF made an almost perfect play and a good accurate throw that probably nails him at 2nd if he had tried to go.

There’s no way they replace Devers’ production this year.  Without it, this lineup is listless…

It was listless when he was here.

Hmmmmm.  I thought Rafaela has a double on that shot, but the replay shows him strolling to 1b assuming he was out.

OK, problem solved.  Wong just K'd and Sogard flied out.

On to the 6th.

Wong is on pace for a 2 RBI season.

I’ll take the over…

The average OPS of tonight’s lineup is .629, so it’s no surprise they are stinking it up against a good pitcher

No, it was not.  They were a top 5 scoring team before the trade.  Now they’re a bunch of complimentary players with no one to compliment…

The have lost what-14 one run games? If they were less listless they should have won half of them

Without Devers and Bregman.  Plus the pitching stinks.  When the pitching was great in those 6 straight wins, we didn't need Bregman or Raffy because the Sox gave up just 8 runs in those 6 games.

I thought Devers was a terrific DH, but also pricey because the Sox are also paying DH Yoshida his $16.8M.

Could someone please explain to why some dirtbags claim Cora refuses to let a starter throw more than 80 or 90 pitched even when they are pitching well?

We have our 3 hits. Does that mean we are done for the night?

No.

Theyre done until the ninth when they will score 2 runs and lose by 1….

I can explain.

Its because Cora hates us…

One more time.  The problem is that the Sox are without both Bregman and Raffy.  Plus Duran is having a so-so season and Casas is also on the IL.

The Giants have had Raffy for 9 games and their record was/is identical to ours, 3-6.

I would love to have Raffy back as the DH.  But he would not be able to save this team without Bregman and better pitching.

Cora (and Breslow) need to be replaced. Breslow because he’s doing a crap job and Cora because the entire management team needs to go in order to start over. THIS ain’t working….

Why did we suck the past four years?
