I often wonder how many more runs the Red Sox would have scored this year with a  runner on third and less than two outs, when batters struck out, instead of just hitting a medium-speed grounder to  the right side.

I often wonder, because they often whiff entirely at merely touching the bat to the pitch.

You can’t aspire to anything with all those errors, and it’s beyond this season. This FO has not done anything to address it.

I realize that we have no choice but to wait for Campbell to become  a Big League ballplayer ( if/when) but in the meantime, he is getting paid , so he can be critiqued.  Right now he is useless.

Even his 1 hit was just a big bounce over the 1Bman who was holding the runner.  The flyout just another  medium deep out doing nothing
