Gio's first contribution to the Red Sox after 500+ days is a shutout inning , but less than efficient with 23 pitches.       The intended rotation appears to now be in action and ready to win some games

No, I'm not "giddy" or about to say "I told you so," because I had no idea how long his troubles would continue. I did think his hard hit% being so high was a clue that maybe we were too hung up on the low BA and OPS.

I hope he's "BACK" for good or "forevers!"

Giolito up to 96 with his fastball at times. Sitting 92-94 but good to see he can get it up there when he needs to. That one to Springer at 95 on pitch 78.

Giolito has had good results coming into the inning but I feel like he’s given up a lot of hard contact tonight. A lot of lineouts or deep fly balls right at people and now two no doubt homers.
