Oh and Rafaela's arm (accuracy, not power) at SS is very suspect. As Moon says , Cedanne should not even be at that position.

That’s my line!

It could be arguable that Rafaela messing up a DP cost the SOX this game. That would make two games the SOX lost in a week because of Raf's play at SS.

Except one of those two games was Hamilton…

Wasn't there a recent game where both DHam and Rafaela messed up a DP or made an error?

My bad. Either way the SOX haven't had a real SS since Bogey left, except for the couple of games Story was able to play. The SOX miss story's glove a lot more than they miss his bat.

They have the perpetually injured Story, whose defense is terrific and whose offense is questionable. Rafaela is a CF and Hamilton is a utility infielder/pinch runner.

Not sure why the Sox didn’t claim Amed Rosario this week. Or Luis Guillorme, who hasn’t played much SS, but is a terrific defender in the rest of the infield…

It’s frustrating to go 4-3 in a week and still lose ground, but we have to remain patient. We’ve shown we’re a better team than the Royals. They have a harder schedule than we do the rest of the way - not entirely sure how that’s possible but I’ll take it. We need to survive in Houston and then win every home series from here on out. I’m not as optimistic as I am in years past, but I’m also not as nervous. I feel like there’s been countless moments when, in the past, this team would have crumbled. But they haven’t. Curious to see what the home stretch looks like.

Bill Parcells would disagree that we've shown we're a better team than the Royals.

Chang was only 30 G? Seems like it was longer than that!

This year? Maybe not. Next year? Depends on if Anthony, Mayer and Teel figure out MLB pitching.

4-2 H2H record is what I was going off of

As am I. Blackout kept me from watching the Orioles series live, but I watched the two wins afterward.
