When Smith got that hit I'm sure I wasn't the only one thinking that maybe Yoshida could get a Little League homer to RF. LOL! Bingo!

ESPN play by play says it was hit 405 feet. That was a homer anywhere.

Could be coincidence, but those dingers were hit by guys who didn't play 12 innings yesterday. Yoshida was the DH, and Gonzalez was a substitute hitter/1B in the 10th inning.

I never said he didn't hit it good. I said I was just thinking he could get a Little League homer because a routine fly ball to right in Fenway is gone in New York.

Yeah that ball was launched. Just a beautiful swing by Yoshida

I agree. That RF fence in Yankem Park is an embarrassment.

Abreu fails twice in a row to hit the ball to the right side that could have scored a run in the 8th and moved the runner to third here. Terrible.

Much much more embarrassing than our dimensions at the RF foul pole.
