Kristian Campbell did not hit a ball harder than 109 mph last year in college with a metal bat. This year he already has two HR north of that mark with 113 and 110 mph.

Campbell? He's playing 2B and CF currently. He's athletic enough to play all over the OF. He's not a DH or LF only guy. He was an IFer in college so is still learning OF at the moment.

Field: Unclear where his long-term defensive home is, but has the athleticism to profile in the outfield, where he spent much of his first taste of pro ball and appears to be moving full-time based on indications in spring training 2024. Also could play second base. Is still learning the nuances of the outfield with his reads and routes, but has the raw athleticism and speed you look for out there.

I think they are just giving him the Duran treatment. I agree with the assessment that he may be a UTIL guy at some point. TBR seems to always have a great 2B/OF guy or three.

Johanfran is a good bat, but his defense may not be good enough to get him to MLB. He may be moved off the position especially since he put on weight this offseason. Not sure that his bat is good enough for a DH profile.
