Just, because the Red Sox are in desperate need of SP, and he’s available doesn’t mean that now all of a sudden he’s better than he really is, and the Red Sox should try, and grab him. We disagree on what to call him, or if he’s worth the money, but no big deal.

 

He’s as good as he is. His recent 3 years has been good. It may not continue.

 

Yes, we are in desperate need of SPer. , and he’s one of the better ones available. He won’t cost as much as some nor lose a draft pick for us by signing him.

I don’t know how the Yam Man will work out, but I’ve been telling you guys that this current crop of FA pitching is not worth all that money. You guys are trying awfully hard to convince me they are. I’ve been saying right along I would rather see the Red Sox trade for some young pitching from somewhere that would be a lot cheaper, and hopefully just as good. Most of these guys are just getting paid more so, because they are available than anything else. Let’s made some trades.

I’d love to see the Sox get Dylan Cease, but he will most definitely cost Roman Anthony. That’s a lofty price in itself. If they want Anthony, should Breslow make the move?
