Fitzy played every position last season except for C.

I was all for him making the team, and I felt Story might need a day or two off, early, so Fitzy would play, but I guess they want him playing everyday.

 

He's 27 and wasting AB's in AAA. He's not a starter, but he's better than Arauz and Shaw. Cora is good about getting everyone AB's so I wouldn't be worried about him languishing on the bench especially after a short ST.

I haven't seen him play OF personally. Here's what SP has to say:

Organization has moved him around the field to increase his defensive versatility for a potential utility role, not because of any deficiency at shortstop
