Maybe it's time to bring Walter & Bello up to AAA.

Maybe, bring Seabold & Kelly up to the bigs. (DFA Danish or Davis to add Kelly to the 40.)

Groome goes for Portland tonight. if he pitches well, how impressive would that staff look?

I'd like to see how they do in AAA, but I trust those in charge know when the time is right.

Maybe. if Seabold and or Winckowski get called up to the bigs, we'll see who gets promoted first. (It might be Groome.)

Posted

Fitzgerald with his 7th tater of the season,

Groshans with two taters tonight for 3 on the season.

Fitzgerald plus Groshans = Northcut.

Between ST'ing and the start of the season, I think Fitzy deserves a look-see, and soon.

Groome did not have it, tonight. I think it will be Seabold or Winckowski as the first starter to be called up.

Rafaela went 3 for 4 w a 2B

Lugo 2 for 4

Larry covered the taters.

I have always been a fan of lugo and I think he was 2 for 4 tonight.

Yes, I mistyped 1 for 4.

I admit, I kinda gave up on Lugo.

Strange day for Murphy. 5 innings and 9 strike outs. 2 hits and 2 walks. Three unearned runs surrendered on Wilson’s error.

Murphy's ERA is down to 2.10, despite the 14 BBs in 30 IP. The 38 Ks and only 16 hits are nice to see.

Maybe we can bring Feltman up.

Hart pitched a no hitter for 6 innings, then Gillies let up 3, and Feltman blew the save letting up 2.

Potts went 3 for 3 and is heating up. As mentioned before, Murphy's nice outing was ruined by an error by Wilson, and the pen imploding.

Greenville lost, too, despite Northcuts granny and 2 walks by Binelas & Lugo.

Salem completed the clean sweep of all 5 Sox teams, today. Kavadas went 2 for 3 with 2 BBs to raise his OPS to 1.004.

What about bringing up granberg? The dude is on base in almost every game.

Hernandez could use a few weeks on the dl to contemplate the cost of his suckage.

I'd put Fitzy ahead of Granberg.

He's doing very well. He'll likely be called up to AAA, this season.

He has been out for 2 weeks for "non baseball" reasons. Should be back soon. Maybe some sort of family emergency?

Paulino with his 2nd tater of the season. Wins it for Salem.

Winkleman with some control issues!

9.00 ERA in the month of May.

Coming on the heels of a 2/3 IP 4 ER 3 BB performance, today's 3.1 IP, 5 K, 4 BB is at least an improvement!

He had 8 walks in his first 4 GS. Has 7 in the past 2.

Don't know if there's an injury or if he's overthrowing.

@brendan_camp

#RedSox relief prospect Jacob Webb has struck out 24 of the first 56 batters he has faced with Low-A Salem this season

Not sure why he's repeating Salem this year. He had a 0.90 ERA last season with a 1.10 WHIP. It was a SSS, but his 2022 17.05 k/9 is kinda outrageous. Need to push him up to Greenville.
