Gotta take the win as a win, but I was hoping the team got a feeling of confidence back, but I'm not sure winning like that is as big of a boost as it could have been.

 

Meh this team always seems to make it difficult. Basically they need to sweep this awful team and hope for the best.

Jacko is a front running troll who only comes out when the Yankees win. Earlier this season when the Sox were beating the Yanks like a drum he was nowhere to be found. I don't know why anyone on this board responds to that troll. He is in here only to agitate like the other night when he said "That Stanton guy is good at baseball". What a low life.

I have few issues with jacko, other than him being a Yankee fan.

 

I don't agree with him on a few things, and of course he has a Yankee bias- like I have a Sox one, but he says a lot of stuff I agree with or makes me think about my positions.

 

I think "troll" is a harsh.

 

We got Sox "fans" saying Cora has to go, this winter. Another has bashed about 35 of the 40 Sox players on the roster- many calls for DFA'ing them.

 

I'm not saying he is never annoying, but he doesn't bother me much.

I put that game in and am gunna watch a few more innings. The Mariners broadcast is so amped that they are legit screaming when the Mariners hit singles with nobody on. I’m happy for them.

The 6-0 win over the O's should have carried over to Thursday's game but obviously did not. Take the win and be glad. Very rough finish but I noticed the Standings only count W's & Ls, not style points.

Very true, and even 15-2 wins don't seem to have any carry-over effect.
