The Jays have a tough lineup, but it is heavily right handed. I think they could be vulnerable to right hand power pitching , as we saw yesterday. Don't know if Richards fits that description. Short leash for sure.

Richards v Rhu does not have a cheery ring to it. While we won the nightcap last night we of course still lost ground to the Rays on the day. Cora still keeps diddling around with the two spot in the batting order. No idea what today's effort will yield.

Verdugo has been hitting the ball pretty good of late as well. Cora has always IMO had this annoying tendency to pull a guy out of the lineup for a day of rest right in the middle of a pretty good hitting streak......Maddening!

With Sale scheduled to start Saturday, this is probably Richards’ last start. He only gets another one if there’s an injury or maybe if a double header crops up.

Richards is arguably the worst starting pitcher in MLB. He's definitely the highest paid worst starter in MLB.
