I don't think they cut him unless he is flat out garbage in Worcester.

And even then, it might not be until next year, unless the rule 5 kids squeeze him out in December.

Looks like they called up brewer to replace fraunchy!

He is one or two guys on the 40 man roster.

I always thought brewer would get jettisoned when they put workmen on the 40 man roster.

Workman's on a minor league deal; he's not on the 40 man roster.

My guess is, if we add Workman, it won’t for Brewer.

Nobody knows Brandon’s arm better than our staff .He can and will be productive for us again .

He’s a reclamation project, nothing more.

Workman has decent numbers at triple a. I have not seen him live or seen velocity numbers however, so it is hard to tell if the numbers are real.

Speaking of Franchy. He homered tonight (2nd HR). He went 2 for 3 to bring his OPS up to 1,378.

When do we call him back up?

A couple more days like this and he should have some serious trade value!

Promote him to AAAA.

The only way for him to get on track is to have extended success in AAA. Maybe he'll be able to get some confidence and provide something to the MLB team once that happens.

...and Odorizzi!

At least Odorizzi isn’t potentially facing up to 20 years in prison. On the Injured List? Yeah, probably. But not in prison...

Could have been worse. Could have signed Ozuna .

One thing that really irritates me about Ozuna is that apparently he will still get paid, even if convicted.

If he’s placed on administrative leave, he can be paid. If he’s suspended, he will not get paid.

That is good to know.

Wonder why hang’em Chaim did not take a chance on starting pitcher gibson?

Because 3 year / $28mill contracts are not conducive to resetting?

I don’t remember a single poster saying we should have signed Gibson.

It’s easy in hindsight.

Yeah, people were only talking about Odorizzi, Kluber and Richards.

I don't even remember anyone saying we should sign Richards, but I do remember people not being excited about his addition, including myself for durability reasons...

It was probably brought up less often than the other two, but I believe he was vaguely in the conversation with guys like Lester and Taijuan Walker.

Nobody was thrilled by the Perez signing, either.
