Amazing how good things happen when the top of the lineup hits early and often . Totally different look. It also helps when a guy like Godley holds the Phillies to one run in 4 innings.

Once again the bullpen cumulatively gives up the tying runs in just 2 innings. And Hembree fails by giving up a hit to score taylor's last guy , gives up a stolen base and then a 2 out walk. And I thought Heathbar was the one bright spot out there. Edited by vegasbob

The look on Roenicke's face is priceless as Harper rounds the bases after taking Hembree out on a 2 out 2 strike 3 run blast to deep right

The 8 run threshhold is achieved.

Punching bags, piñatas and pigs.

Roenicke is going down the same road as Joe Kerrigan and he is taking it to the next level. He will never be seen again in a managerial capacity. He’s be extremely lucky to land any job in baseball. Bloom is looking like a turd too.

It's easy to blame the manager, but after this stint of managing the SOX, RR will probably hate baseball. And speaking of turds, RR was given the impossible task of spit-shining a big pile of shite.

At this point it’s better to just lose games and valet a top 3 draft pick. I wonder if they will draft another bust pitcher.

Bloom is 100% to blame.

Meanwhile, the human windmill, Michael Chavis, K's 3 more times. I only pick on this guy because so many people like him. It must be the wind energy he generates

Yup. I guess I can retire my "MC Hammered that one."

5 relievers give up 4 HR's and 12 runs.. Some of these losses have been slow drip leaks but this one is in a class of its own. How can everyone of those throwers suck so badly in the same game. Roenicke is getting stuck with this crap, I feel for him because he has tried them all and not one could do his job. Edited by vegasbob

This team is bad. Brewer, Hembree, Braiser and Walden should all be DFA'd tomorrow. They stink.

Brasier hasn't f***ed up yet tonight, but he still has an out to get, so don't blink

Disagree on Hembree, overall this year he’s been pretty decent. He was awful tonight, no doubt about it. But coming into tonight, he’d allowed 2 runs in 9 2/3 innings over 10 appearances. He’d also walked only 2. He’s been fine as a 5th/6th/7th inning type. Frankly, I’ll take a guy who gives up a bunch of runs in one game out of 10 over one who gives 1 up every time he pitches.

The others are very replaceable at this point.

The windmaill known as Chavis whiffs 5 times in one game. Doesn't prove anything about his future, just tells you he sucks in the present.
