Porcello is a solid innings eater, but with the exception of one season, he’s never been an ace.

 

That really has value on any team and he will likely get it together for a stretch. He doesn't need to be an ace, just give us reasonble starts and last for 7 innings. I would be satisfied with that.

Agreed with this. Porcello giving us 6 innings with the offense this way will most of the time get us a win! Chavis looking good. I hope it continues !!
