So Brett Lawrie, out of baseball sonce 2016, signed a contract before Harper and Machado. How many more names will come of of the recycle bin before these two actually sign somewhere?

This reminded me of when I tried watching the Draft Day movie, and after ten minutes, I thought "why am I watching this crap?" and turned it off.

Tom Hanks would be better suited to play Theo Epstein.

Also, Bryce Harper will be played by Chris Pratt , and since the role requires him to do nothing for 6 months, it shouldn’t tax his acting ability. Manny Machado will be played by Luis Guzman, who is a little old for the part but... hey, the guy is in every movie. He has to fit in here somewhere...

He doesn't have to look like an athlete, because all he has to do is sit around the house, while his beard grows and cobwebs grow on his phone. The only way this movie can work is as a sick comedy, after all.

Rogen is probably cheaper anyway. What other parts need to be cast so this complete lack of story can be told? Do we need a Ken Rosenthal to deliver no news everyday? I think Josh Malina is perfect for his part. He can just stare in awkward silence at Buster Olney, as portrayed by Andy Milonakis...

San Diego is a great place to play. Beautiful ball park. Great weather. Surrounding area is one of the nicest places in the nation. Plus, if you have a s***** year, you won't have to deal with much media fallout.
