Sale was pitching, and 8 of the 9 players above were in that June 23 lineup. Only change is Vazquez for Leon. The Sox batting order then was:

JDM

Moreland

Bogaerts

Nunez

Devers

Leon

JBJ

 

JBJ had 3 singles, Moreland a 2 run dinger, and Betts, Devers, and Leon rbi's.

Nah, he was thinking "holy s***, I can't believe this kid wanted to come out 9 weeks early. Hope he doesn't die. Boy this is going to be stressful waiting for him to be released from the hospital since this is the 70's and life is very bleak right now. At least Carter will be president soon."

 

Another swing and miss from Billy boy. It must be tough having the personality of day old dog throw up.
