Best fans are maybe Chiefs, Vikings and Bills?

Raider fans are fine, just ignore the dress up. The black hole nonsense is way overblown.

I'll go with Vikings and Bills no doubt fantastic fans !!!

More than a few.

Of course, but guys who go nuts AT THE games, are FAR different than your average Pats fan!

You simply can't judge 90% by the 10% idiots you see at the games!

Oakland Raider fans are s***** would be more accurate ...Cowboy fans dillusional....Seahawks fans Liars ....jet fans ??? I just feel bad for them ...Giant fans jeolous....Bills fans amazing people can't even fake it ....maybe the best football fans are Bills fans .Patriot Fans are cocky pricks I'll admit it .

Giants fans have had little to celebrate recently, but I don't think they're jealous. I know many, many Giants fans and I'm pretty sure the only thing they think about the Patriots is the fact that they're undefeated against the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Despite how bad they've been the past few seasons, I'd be pretty happy with that.

The Pats fans at home are probably just as entitled to endless Super Bowls as the ones at the games.

Sorry dude, but you are likely too young to understand. No offense intended, but trust me. MOST Patriots fans struggled through DECADES UPON DECADES of praying to just get a Wildcard!

MOST know that we've been riding a wave that will eventually crash, and are simply soaking it all in.

This "entitled" ********, is just that .... ********! for MOST Pats fans.

Now when *******s come at us over ******** all other teams do, i.e. try to get the best air pressure in the f***ing ball, or "spying," both of which every other team on the f***in planet does, WE SIMPLY WON'T PLAY THAT f***ING GAME. That's just whiny ass ********, and WE LOVE shaving it up their arsses!

That's not 'entitlement!' THAT'S Balls out, go f*** yourself, "cry me a river ass-hat," Boston. ;)

NO joke my friend :)

The fact you can call just about 100 differing cab or alt cab company and they will drive you at no cost some if your tanked ??? And you still pull that s*** ??? That's prison time in my opinion ...I hope to God no one has to go through that s*** .

Was watching the bruins game. Glad to see the Sox win. Maybe this is the confidence they need after that ugly no hitter.

No. Super bandwagony. Gillette is a miserable experience. Lots of ignorant people that don’t know the sport. People complain about Red Sox pink hats, but Pats fans are 95% pink hats.

The team has been great. Tom and Bill are amazing. Everything else about the Pats sucks (owner, stadium, regional fans).

I am afraid that MVP is 100% spot on here.

I have lived near the stadium since 1989. I went to every game 1989 through 1999 including all scrimmages and pre-season games.

The old Foxboro Stadium was a real football experience. As long as you could pinch in that piss for a while! The fans were real football people and the game was much closer to the fans. The beer was much cheaper and parking was $5. not $45.

The new stadium is pretty to look at on TV but that is it. Most of the seats are way too far from the action and most fans have no f***ing clue who Jim Nance was.

Mostly pink hat types and Stepford Fans like the old Atlanta Braves fans with their f***ing tomahawks.

I can't stand the f***ing place.

....man for years our only famous ball player was an Olineman in the 70s ...then Stingley thing ..then Grogan years ...tony Eason ??? Shhhhhhit that SB was an embarrassment.....If anyone thinks we turned a corner with Bledaoe right away ???? Uhhhhhh no ...Brady is the one who put us on his back ....Bellichick was bombing out with Drew .....There was the 70 80s. 90 s all with painful memories ...some great ones but mostly painful....Hell we had Pete Carrol for a bit even .

I have no problem with Pats fans like you guys. The problem is that almost every single one I know personally and most of the ones I have met in passing are people my age, who only know the Brady-Belechik era. They either intentionally didn't start watching until then, or were too young to start watching until then. So it's mostly a mix of arrogant pricks with no respect for the fans of any other franchise and people who will give up on the Pats after the first poor season post-Brady. Unfortunately, there are a lot of Sox fans like this too. I give Yankees fans a hard time, obviously, and I do it a lot, but I also try not to be an unmitigated *******. Some of these dumb frat bro Pats fans don't understand that distinction. My only consolations are that one, they'll disappear in a few years if the next QB for the Pats isn't as good, and two, Pats fans like you guys hate them as much as I do.

Andre Tippett ...Was my favorite player for my childhood ...loved that guy ....Hannah ....these names mean nothing to most ...they are every bit the stars Brady and Gronk are to you guys now ...just no Flash all grind .Hell my favorite Redsox was Jim Rice he would be a yawn compared to Mookie or Papi for you folks ...but he gave it everything he had .Spaceman was everything you could ever name an icon mad he lived it also ...there where no World Series Trophy or SB ...but we hated the Yankeea more than you will ever dream of .hell Zimm the guy you guys laughed at getting thrown by Pedro ??? He was our Manager here ....he had a screw loose from getting beamed in the Dome and most who remember zim was not shocked he went at Pedro at 80 something lol Edited by Natick to NC

Tipp is an ass-hat in person, though.

I used to see him 2-3 times a week at The Gourmet Penguin coffee shop in North Attleboro.

He used to co-own a martial arts studio nearby.

He was always arrogant and stand offish.

One morning a Mom and little boy came in to order food. The Mom pointed out to the boy who that man was. The little boy went over and asked for an autograph. Tipp said that he was not Andre Tippit and did not give the kid an autograph.

What a dick.

I had a customer who was a soccer Mom. She was also a something level black belt ( which Tipp claimed to be ). She said that she had several dealing with him and he is a ******** and a pussy. A pussy because he would not spar with her.

Whatever. You need to remember that these big time athletes are people too. Many of them are not so nice. I've met dozens of Pats players over the years.

Tipp stands out as a major disappointment.

We won today and is very likely we will win tomo. Then we play to KCR who are horible and TB who have played like the devil rays against us.

We are the best team in baseball thus far and we will be there for a while. Enjoy it fellas.

Most Raiders fans I've ran into at games have actually been very cool and respectful. I'm a Steelers fan and was in Pittsburgh in a section full of Raiders fans when Oakland came to Pittsburgh and all of them were cool, even with morons in our section taunting them. In general, I really hate people who talk s*** to random fans of other teams for no reason and make the experience a bad one, especially if they are there with their family/kids. There is no reason to take a sport that far, and unfortunately, I see it happen a lot, especially in football stadiums.

I agree with this. Most of the Pats fan I run into are such unbearable douches, which is the main reason for my dislike of them and the team. I don't even hate the players. I think Brady is best QB of all time and I've actually met Bill Belichick numerous times at work, and have a lot of respect for him. Every fan base has morons, but they're ridiculous.

About the favorite player debate, I'm a bit younger, and have only been watching since 2002 or so, so my favorites have always been Manny and Pedro, but man do I love Mookie. I will be severely disappointed if we don't re-sign him long term. I love everything about him, his personality, the way he plays, obviously his skills, I rarely buy jerseys for anyone, and I bought his shortly after his MLB debut, I literally had to custom order it because MLBShop didn't have it yet lol.

Yup. Oakland fans are fine. It’s LA Raider/Charger fans that are a problem.

Are we doing all-time favorite Sox players? Is there an old thread we can dig up for that?
