There's nothing wrong with having a bit of luck to win a game. A lot of times luck plays a huge factor in a win.

Awesome game, and great game thread!

And the Yankees lose on top of it!

Let's go!

Perfect day in my book.

I think wearing those Devil Rays uniforms during the opening series might have been a poor omen for those guys. No one launches a brand new ocean liner wearing Titanic throwback caps, and there's a reason for that.

Yes I was for years and was wondering what happened.. Now I'm here..

I was too and one day I logged on and the board was taken down. There were quite a few good posters over there but there were also a sh*t ton of trolls that had turned that place upside down over the past year or so. I'm just glad I found another board with a lot of die-hard, knowledgeable Red Sox fans to converse with.

Now I'm here as well and I'm enjoying it.

Lol. This most likely explains my delight bordering on giddiness when I saw the Rays’ sporting their throwbacks. It’s not like they were of great design. That and I’m sure it pissed off 5 or so Floridian fundamentalists somewhere.

Stanton heard it big time at Yankee Stadium for his second golden sombrero of the weekend series.

I have to double correct you there but it's all good.

Stanton struck out 5 times April 3 vs the Jays and 5 times yesterday.

Not the double golden sombrero...the double 'platinum sombrero' or some such thing.

Wow that is some serious flailing.

Couldn’t catch the game, seems it was epic.

It’s clear ERod always will go deep in the count. He paid today for it. Keep Velazquez in the rotation and send EaRod to BP.

ERod is frustrating I know but I'm optimistic he'll settle into a groove after a few starts and give us quality ones from thereon out. That said, I'm not opposed to trying a partial 6 man rotation. Could be a great way to keep everyone fresh. What I call a partial 6 man rotation is that in a stretch without off days, you use 6 starters. When there are off days, you fall back to 5 starters. That means the 6th starter makes occasional starts and is otherwise the long man out of the pen.

I always thought the "Devil Rays" was a nice nod to the thriving death metal scene in Tampa. http://wusfnews.wusf.usf.edu/post/born-tampa-death-metal-making-comeback

And Boone is a doofus.

Boone is Olaf from Frozen. It's funny for the first 2 minutes, then you want the sun to come out and melt his face away.

Not an ERod fan, but agree it makes sense to give him a real shot. I do not think a 6 man rotation is needed. Better I think to have Johnson/Velazquez for long relief, to say nothing of the value of having a spare arm--which has already been the case--for the rotation. Up ahead is the return of Pomeranz and maybe even Wright.

Hey, some of us actually fall within Frozen's target audience. Wait, I'm not a 6-16 year old girl. It's still one of my favorite movies though, and I'm not ashamed to say it

Thunder, that is the worst Disney/Pixar movie my kids have forced me to watch (post 2000 titles). Frozen was so bad that they got bored the first 2 viewings and wanted to turn it off.

Coco

Cars

The Incredibles

Up

Big Hero 6

Moana

Zootopia

Wall E

Toy Story 3

Finding Nemo

Meet the Robinsons

Ratatouille

Cars 3

Monsters University

Finding Dory

Brave

Tangled

Winnie the Pooh

Chicken Little

Inside Out

Wreck It Ralph

Cars 2

Planes

Gnomeo and Juliet

Frozen

FWIW, I don't think this is a Pixar movie but my (grand)children dragged me to see "A Wrinkle in Time" last weekend. I STRONGLY recommend you avoid this waste of time at all cost. It's two wasted hours of my time I'll never get back.

I actually liked Frozen too. Doesn't beat Lion King as my favorite Disney movie, but I definitely enjoyed it.

Of the ones, I've seen, which is not many, I like Cars, The Incredibles, Up, Finding Dory, Monsters U, Inside Out, Wreck It Ralph, Gnomeo and Juliet.

In fact, I'll change my mind. My new top 5 is:

Inside Out

Wreck It Ralph

Frozen

Monsters University

Finding Dory

The reason I moved those two up is because I forgot that I had cried at the end of them
