Incorrect, you brought it up on the previous page.

Short term memory failing you?

How would anyone know that you hate the NFL if you hadn't brought it up yesterday or whenever?

But in a context about sports, which is not the same as bringing personal political views into it...

So maybe the Houston papers won't write a story about the fan who interfered giving his name, home address and work address like the Chicago Sun Times did with Steve Barton?

I never underestimate the stupidity of people's emotions when it comes to sport. Nothing might happen. Or they might have 4 mules pull his body apart on the pitching mound. It's a toss up.

I went to Harry Caray's restaurant in Chicago.

They have the blown up Bartman ball in a showcase in the waiting area. LOL

Well, if you are referring to who brought it up originally and not in just this recent case it was slasher, go back and look if you want.

The original plan was to make it into a soup, but I think they scratched the idea because they feared that boiled rawhide might taste better than a lot of the other space age polymers on the menu...

I didn't eat there, was just at the bar. Did have some of their homemade potato chips though, pretty good.

Incorrect, certainly not "in a context about sports"......

I just can't find the original post about football. I thought maybe it was him bringing up Roethlisberger as an athlete he didn't want to root for...

Ok:

yup. they give sucky teams a pseudo chance with a "play in" game pretending to be playoff teams.

im guessing you cancelled your sunday ticket because of the phony anthem controversy.....

So how did you feel when the sox were a wild card team, were they "sucky"?

And I'm not going to be dragged into a political discussion, but let's just say my dad was NYPD, so I will never watch the NFL again and leave it at that.

Ruling: it started because BW was complaining about the Machado complaints since baseball is wussified ("softening up the game too much"). S9 correctly guessed that BW was an anti-NFL snowflake. BW admitted to being an anti-NFL snowflake. So now here we are.

This is cute.

dewdrop has me on ignore, rants about my posts and asks me a question that I can't respond to because he has me on ignore.

I never understood how someone can be so thin skinned.

That's MR. DEWDROP to you! Haha

It's not a matter of being thin-skinned. It's that I don't waste my time with obvious trolls. There are only so many minutes in the day and every minute I spend replying to your trolling posts is a wasted minute of my life that I can't get back.

Hell, MVP understands that. I would think you would too.

So your post reaffirms what I said, slasher was the first to bring it up.

Thanks.

But yet you asked me a question and now have responded.

You can't make this s*** up........

It's your fault. You admitted to your snowflakiness. Should have just kept the politics out of it.

Do you actually believe all those number they throw up there? :D IMHO they're all calculated approximations with a margin of error. They're close, very close, and they make good fodder for the announcers and fans but they're not as precise as they'd like you to believe they are.

But I'm a cynic anyway. :D

lol. i hear you. good point. I feel like they should be able to do a freeze frame 360 degree rotate on that catch though. they use that technology in some football replays and Matrix.

joe west is a fat turd that has no business being an outfield ump, he was at least 100 feet away and really in no position to make the call. But since he did the replay guys can't overturn the original call without 100% confidence. Had west correctly called it the other way it would have stood as a home run.

hahahah. butt hurt.

If MLB had that camera, it'd be another obstruction that hitters would get ground rule doubles off of. No thanks.

remember when the yankees won a WS because Fox camera was in field of play and Godzilla hit a "homerun" off of it vs phila?

That level of freeze and rotate requires a lot of cameras. You need a visual from each angle rotated to...

You're an idiot.

You even shared the post that showed that I did not bring politics into this.........

You went with the "my dad was NYPD" nonsense. You could have just ignored it.

Again, it's your fault for the wussification of MLB crap.

I guess you are just dense, he brought it up first, plain and simple.

And you could have just ignored my response but chose not to.

I'm gonna go with dense.......

I don't remember Matsui hitting a HR off a camera, but I do remember pedro (6.30 ERA, 7 earned in 10 innings) taking 2 losses that series including the clincher.......

I believe what he's saying is that you didn't have to bring politics in it. Sure he brought it up first, but he was half-joking, assuming I'm reading the tone right. We would've gotten the point without you alluding to your dad's history with the NYPD, which I absolutely envy and respect FWIW.

Well, I don't take slasher's tone that way since it is not his first attempt to turn threads political. He has a history of that.
