I don't think I've ever seen Porcello get amped up like that was what I was thinking at the time. If I have, I don't remember it.

Exactly, and did you see Sale, the animated cheerleader, in the dugout?

This team is pumped up and focused.

Nice! I forgot about you being at that game!

That is the exact type of game that I would love to see in person.

Hopefully Price was taking notes. LOL

Yeah it was a great game. The crowd was buzzing off his performance. Really was some atmosphere. Damn that one hit ha!

I really love the emotion and focus this team has. Mookie's grand slam against Happ and reaction that followed was my favorite moment of this season by far. These guys are not only dominating the league, but having fun. It is really enjoyable to watch.

I know adding JD was a big boost, but I really love how Cora has gotten this team focused and loving the game.

I've really begun to like Cora. I was kinda 50/50 and didn't want to judge him one way or the other too early, but it just feels like a different team with Cora here instead of Farrell. Sure, he may make moves we don't agree with, but the team loves him, and his comments in the media are really making me like him.

I firmly believe Hanley was pain in the ass, that we never saw. Soon as they got rid of that clown this team took off. One of the most overrated ballplayers ever saw. Edited by OH FOY!

Eovaldi has been amazing, I never knew he could command pitches like he has these last two starts.

Let's hope he's our new Rich Hill.

Gotta love it!

Every move DD has made this season has paid off. The man has the Midas touch right now.

Midas was actually kind of a loser.

Yeah, Sale was incredibly animated. And I was equally impressed with Kimbrel's decision to prefer not to pitch in the All-Star game because "this team has something special happening..."

Me too. It's another example of the "fire & desire" I thought we were lacking last year.

This team is so much fun to watch!

I really don't think it was a lack of fire and desire as much as it was the guys just weren't having fun like they are this year.

I don't think they ever lacked the desire.

Either way, those of you who were saying that there were problems with Farrell appear to be right.

I don't remember seeing it either. It was fun to see.

I'm glad you got to see a good game and a win.

It stinks going to a game where your team loses.

Not buying it.

One of my favorite moments is when Mookie was positioned almost in CF with Mauer (I believe) was at bat. The amount of open space in right field was crazy. Mauer hit the ball right at Mookie. He literally did not have to move. Then Mookie takes out his cheat card and starts waving it around. Good stuff.

Come on. We were a first place team with Hanley.....

I'm not sure that he was too big a problem, but it is really pretty obvious that our team is a better team without him. His productive years were all used up and our guys were sharp enough to see it. Maybe Hanley was the great teammate that some said he was and maybe he wasn't. who really knows? I like the guys that were brought in a lot more than I ever liked Hanley Ramirez.

29-15 with Hanley, 49-19 without him. 14 games over .500 we wouldn't be in 1st place now. Best year of his contract this year. He's not here.

Wright had a 26-inning scoreless streak or something like that...Eovaldi starts off with 15...this team is torrid, hot, molten lava sizzling burn your hand in 2 seconds steaming hot!!!!! Go Sox!!!!! Moreland/Pearce an animal!!! Everyone goes on 10-day DL...and who cares!!! Up 8-1/2 ....Love this team, love the manager, love the approach and let's face it, Kimbrel might be Full-Back Don Stanton but sure as hell isn't blowing games the way the Bullpen By Committee did that one fateful season.

Leon is so much better than Vasquez, and I hope Sandy keeps the majority of the innings behind the plate...again, he can hit 200, and I don't really care, just hit a big hit or HR every once and a while...which he does.

I really believe the Sox would have lost today's game in other years...I'm positive of that just because it would always fuel the fire of media/and obsessive fans who are always thinking the worst.

Dan the Curly Man would always rip Pedro or rip whomever no matter how good the Sox would be playing....there was always something to bitch about or complain about. The worst thing that happened in Sox dugout this season? I really don't even know if there was anything that caused a stir unless it was Hanley's release.

I like the post — a couple of minor clarifications — “Full pack” Don Stanhouse. Earl Weaver called him “Full pack”, because he used to go through a whole pack of cigarettes when Stanhouse pitched.

Bradley could hit 200 the rest of his life, and I still would put him out there 162 games a year.

DC same thing with Leon. Best game caller of all the Catchers.
