Since right here isn't going to single anyone out.

When people use the word meh, it angers me. I'm at the point where it angers me so much, I'm going to lose my s*** one day on a reply that starts with meh. It's just the lamest reply I can think of. It's insulting with being just so wimpy it makes you look like a DB. I can't stand it.

Don't worry about me, I'm old school. Meh has never entered into my vocabulary.

I would like to know who made the Yankees second half schedule. It’s a joke of a schedule compared to our schedule. Got ten games between the Guardians and Astros.
The Yankees remaining schedule is a cake walk except for the games against the Red Sox.

Barnes is my man. I've always liked him, especially when he gets ripped by some fans.

Middle releivers are the Rodney Dangerfields of a team......... no respect no matter what they do.

Texas = big hat no cattle lol

Come on down. Repeat that to the bartender a few times so all in the bar can hear what you said. Enjoy your evening.

I'll just ...... meh...... he had it coming to him.

Dude...... have you been down here? They are all packing heat, and everyone of these peoples biggest dream is an invader showing up some day so they can get all Dirty Harry on their ass. These people are psycho.

I second that evaluation.

Here's a good one: We get to the Canadian border and the lady asks, "Do you have any guns, mace or any other weapons?"

"No," I respond.

"Do you have any guns at home?" she then asks.

"No," I say again.

"None?" she says again as she looks at my Texas Licence plate with a puzzled look on her face.

Me neither. Never said it. Never typed it.

And the incidents of road rage are probably very low. You don't want to flip off a guy with a gun rack.

I always thought I was the only Texan never to own a gun.

If they allowed bazookas to be sold, my guess is 40% of Texans would buy one.

This is where you East Coasters have it wrong. Hell yea you don't flip off a truck with a gun rack.

But these hillbillies have upgraded. They can masquerade as I.T professionals or Doctors or something. You never know down here.

The only thing I can tell you for certain, is that anyone from Oklahoma is a freakin Psycho.

Some pansy Texans wear special gloves that disallow the upward movement of the middle fingers.

Only typed it once, and even then as a deliberate response to SoxHop.

But beyond that - never!! I can’t stand it when my 11 year old responds to me with that...

My goodness! Why would anyone do that anywhere? With respect to *******s, I don't think Texas has the edge over anywhere else do you?

I think I read somewhere that there are more guns than people in Texas.

Like everything else, *******s fall into different categories. There are harmless *******s, and there are heavily armed *******s.

I'd say everywhere you find a person, there would be an *******, but what does that to do with baseball?

So, you don't flip off anyone.

I've had two driving altercations during the time I've lived down here.

There is something that actually pisses me off more than the use of "Meh". It's when you are backing out of a parking space and can't see if any cars are coming cause there are cars parked next to you on both sides (usually big ass vehicles since it is Texas). And as you back up real slow to alert anyone that you are backing up and pulling out of the space people feel they just can't wait half a minute and drive behind your half pulled out vehicle making you jam the breaks and hope no one else decides to slips by.

In both altercations people have done this to me, and I decided I'd just back up real fast and kind of sort of make it look like I'm going to ram their car, but I've stopped both times inches away.

Lets say in both altercations I had my handle on the door ready to step out and explain why I think their behavior is not appropriate. And both times with my handle on the door ready to step out, I remembered I was in Texas. I then decided not to have a face to face discussion about good driving habits with my fellow motorist, as my helpful driving tips and suggestions might not be looked at favorably and misconstrued, and it wasn't worth catching a few ounces of lead over.

Yanks face Syndergaard, Matz, and DeGrom after the break. Ought to be interesting. This is a good time to get more distance between us.

Mets is lucky to win 1 game. They just really suck.

For us, we just keep rolling as we have.

And they assumed that you had a gun too, so it ended peacefully? In NY people would be yelling , screaming and very possibly assaulting. In my travels, I have found that an armed society is a polite society, bless your heart. LOL! I run into more than my share of *******s in NY, and as the *******s become younger and bigger, I have learned to not engage. Not engaging is probably always a good idea, but adrenaline can kick in when you think you are going to be assaulted and if you give into the adrenaline, nothing good can result... ever. I am certain that if we had concealed carry here that the *******s would not be so aggressive.

He does seem to be unduly criticized.

Lurch has been effective overall the last few years. One year Farrell overused him so badly that he was useless in the second half of the season.

According to both Baseball Prospectus and Fangraphs, the Yankees have the 2nd easiest second half schedule, behind only the Guardians.

The Sox are roughly middle of the pack in terms of remaining schedule.
