I wish I saw the game today......... Betts is too fun........ that guy can make a game for me.................. Xander is slick...... but Betts is just fun............

I bet todays game was incredible to watch......

Enjoy it. Hope you rock the red sox gear. I am sure other sox fans will be in the ballpark as well.

Of course we rock Sox gear, we also started a ton of "MVP" chats for Mookie and "Papi" chants every time Ortiz came up. Red Sox fans were more dominant tonight by far, and it wasn't close. Pretty sad that Baltimore is in first place and doesn't sellout games ever, and half the stadium was fans of an opposing team.

I've been to two games this year. Mookie has hit 5 home runs in the two games. Ill be at the game tomorrow too, I expect some more homers from Mookie.

Exciting with less anxiety than yesterday's game.

If hits 2 more home runs tomorrow, he should put you up in a hotel in Boston and get you season tickets.

I heard a 100 Republicans signed a petition to have Trump removed from the ticket and Betts added on.

No Tillman for us tomorrow. He is being pushed back for an injury. We will face Bundy.

Seriously?

I checked. It's true. But Bundy could be tougher than Tillman.

Abad is coming into face Davis as the tying run.

Abad has been awful for us. Despite getting his guy out in his last outing, I really don't like seeing him coming into games that are close. I would not have left him in for the 2nd batter, righty no less, after walking Davis on 4 straight pitches.

Kimbrel warming up. Could he get a no sweat 1,2,3

Yes, he can! Thank goodness for no more drama in the 9th!

Have I mentioned how awful Thorne is? He is so much more bearable when the Os lose.

Yeah, I was thinking that. I don't know if Bundy instead of Tillman is a good thing or not.

Either way, Price needs to be our ace today.

You have my sympathies. Gary Thorne got his start here in Maine doing various sports in high school and college games and writing a column for the local newspaper. Somehow along the way he got the idea that he's a lot better than he is. His forte is name-dropping. If you listen to his broadcasts it's full of references to the people he knows and the people he's met.

But thanks for reminding me how fortunate I am that since he hit 'the big time' I don't have to listen to him.

He is awful. Unfortunately for me, the Os games are blacked out on Extra Innings and MLB.tv in my area. I have to watch all of the Sox/Os on MASN, which means 18,19 games of Thorne every year.

I haven't noticed the name dropping thing, probably because I mostly tune him out. I'll have to pay closer attention to that.

LOL

He has it in him. I know he does.

How great would it be to sweep those bums in their ballpark, albeit only a 2 game series?

Come on Price, don't let us down!

It'd be great if the Sox could move into a tie with the Jays!

It's a good time for the Sox to hit the road. Both the O's and Tigers have been so-so in the last couple of weeks.

More than just pitching well, Price needs to go deep into the game and give the pen a break.

So, no slow starts and 25 pitch innings!

Just think of where we would be if we had won even 1 game of that Tigers series. They came in, swept us, and then got hot. We would be a first place team if we had won just one game of that series. These next 5 games vs Baltimore and Detroit are CRUCIAL.

My 3 year-old has developed the catchphrase "You have to keep an eye on Mookie" and reminds me before every game...it's usually good advice.

Also, this is probably the best thing ever:

LOL I'm still pulling for the Jays in this series against that other team.

Obviously, we're still shooting for the division, but the good news is, we've opened up a 3 game lead over the next wild card contender, which is not bad considering that the Tigers passed us a couple of times last week. We need to be able to take them down another notch or two.

Yup, our BP could use some rest after last night. To be fair, in the games where Price has not imploded, he has done a good job of eating innings.

He's 5th in the league in innings pitched. Seems to be that he's one of the best at pitching late in games.
