I wish Ecks would quit making fun of Rays. They maybe 3-22 now but 2 of those came vs the Sox.

 

Great job by Porcello today. Kudos to both Xander and Pedey for clutch hits.

 

Game tomorrow should be a laugher but man Price makes me nervous. It seems he has no margin for error.

Porcello has been as solid as I could have hoped. I know that wins are not the best way to judge a pitcher, but they do mean something for me, and Porcello is doing a good job in that regard.

I am glad that I was wrong about the Sox needing 6 runs to win. I forgot they were playing the Rays.

 

Nice job by Porcello after an inauspicious start. He is earning his pay now.

I think the Rays and Sox are now 4 & 4 this year. I have to listen to the Rays broadcast, here in Ft. Myers, so I didn't hear Eck's comments. Tell you the truth, he's getting very tiresome.

Another series win, but like I said earlier, I don't want to settle for winning the series. I want the sweep.

 

Great game by Porcello. Nice job by both Barnes and Koji. Koji got a little help from the ump, but who's complaining?

 

With Kimbrel out for a while and Koji and Taz both needing to be used judiciously, it would be huge if we could turn to Barnes in high leverage situations.

I'm with you on this.

 

Also, like Taz and Koji, I think that Barnes needs to be managed as well. Maybe not? I do like that he has morphed from a starter to a decent mid-reliever.
