Might is the operative word, since he only lasted 12.1 innings in his 3 major league starts. We have no depth.

Can't believe we don't have any arm reasonably ready in our farm. It sucks.

Layne hasn't done jack...he started the Toronto 8-4 fiasco by hitting a batter....no excuse for that up 4 runs

stat of the day....Joe Kelly averages over 21 pitches per inning...the guy has no control....just get rid of the guy....

That St. Louis trade looks good every day.

Kelly is a bust. That is why the Cardinals were willing to part with a young arm. The Cards are good at pumping and dumping their young guys who are not very good. Shelby Miller is another one.

Find it. If I did, I'll aceept it, if I didn't (and considering how much I goddamn whined about Kelly and Buchholz not lasting the season), accept you make stuff up (which you do). In fact, IIRC, I spent a long part of the offseason beating the Panda for Shields drum.

You did man, and no big deal. I won't go there and try to find it LOL!. It was one of your "discuss for the sake of discuss" moments -- a la Papelbon.

They ate Ben's and LL's lunch.

I won't believe it unless I see it, sorry. I did argue that, when healthy, Buchholz is better than Shields, which this season has demonstrated is wrong, but I've never been a believer in Kelly.

I'd rather have a guy here who might turn things around instead of a guy who won't turn things around.

I would agree with you if Owens was putting up good numbers for the PawSox, but he isn't. Since going back there he's had 5 starts.

As I said, no big deal. I just recalled it when I saw that you wrote that to Kim.

Oh why did you remind me of that. Layne needs to get DFA.

Should have traded Owens while he had value.

Clay B reminds me of Fire Marshall Bill from Living Color

You're not the first to say that. Kind of a dead ringer, really.

Ortiz is telling Farrell: "how many runs do we have to score for these bums?"

Fixed.

Can't believe we are losing this.
