I hate the Mets.

I don't hate the Mets, but I don't particularly like them either. I'm a David Wright fan though.

I saw him in a local HR Derby several years back, along with the Upton brothers and Michael Cuddyer. Good stuff. Cuddyer won.

Former prospect Margot is hitting .311/.358/.447, being 21yo in AAA is excellent. He has an impressive K/BB rate as well. He should be up if SD were contending.

Scioscia is the real Angels CEO isn't he.

Can't stand Scioscia. He's right up there with Showalter and Maddon.

And how is Jered Weaver even still pitching?

The Blue Jays have optioned Aaron Sanchez to the minors. I know that they wanted to limit his inning, but I don't understand this move.

It's a way to open up his roster spot. My understanding is that they just want to skip one start, so he'll be called back up after the 10 days. In the meantime, it makes sense to take advantage of the roster spot.

Reading my weekly fantasy report this morning, they claim that it is only until the 31st. They don't plan on pitching him own there. He's in high A.

Bunch of teams doing this kind of thing nowadays. Not sure how far back it goes.

My weekly fantasy report....is not about baseball.

Neither is mine, but what I was talking about here was looking at our Yahoo Fantasy League, and noticing that my best SP this season is not on the active roster.

I pray to God he doesn't opt out. Please, Stanton, take Jeffrey Douchebag to the cleaners on this one. I wouldn't opt out? $300mil+ and every penny guaranteed? That would suit me. I'm not greedy.

So the White Sox have a new naming rights deal for U.S. Cellular Field. It will now be called Guaranteed Rate Field. Are you kidding me? Professional sports franchises continue to show no shame or class when there's a money-grab to be had.

Also, the mortgage company's logo is an arrow pointing downward. I trust that won't be displayed too prominently around the stadium.

Brian Dozier is at 39 home runs. The Twins haven't had a 40 HR season since 1970. Everyone except them and the Pirates (1973) and Royals (never) has had at least one since 2000. That's a long time to go without a good mashing season from at least one guy.

I heard that prick Girardi will be resting some of his Skanks tonight against the Toronto Blue Jays so they are fresh for the Rays. Screw him.

Even more reason that the Sox need to take care of business.

I'm hoping that four days off does not harm Papi's timing before he can swat the Jays into oblivion.
