Slash, people don't undergo shoulder surgery for a "phantom" injury and any doctor that would perform one would be guilty of malpractice. A guy like Dr. Andrews is certainly not going to put his or his practice's reputation on the line for that.

fair enough IL. i agree my use of "phantom" was invalid.

A few years back many fans were of the opinion that JD Drew didn't care and wasn't a team player. It was just opinions and had no factual basis. Same with the above with the attacks on the character and personal integrity of Pablo. Any fool can have a baseless opinion.

With the mound of fact upon fact that has already been sited here with which posters have based their inferences, this seems to be an attack on our character?

Tisk tisk

I'm sure any 4th grader could read them all? ;) but I would never call someone a fool for being too lazy to read them! They are voluminous after all.

I was referring to what Kimmi stated previously about the attacks on Pablo's character and integrity. We are all aware about his statistics and health problems. What none of us have the facts on is his true character. All I see here is opinions and speculation. Much like fourth graders.

If you don't think that one can infer a great deal about someone's character based on his actions I don't know what to tell you.

All I know is that 4th graders sound horrible. I'm glad I have another 4 years to go before I deal with that as a parent.

They are great my man. I've got a 3rd grader & have been through 2 others. Plus coached scores.

They are very capable of drawing inferences based on someone's actions. It ain't brain surgery!

Well.... for some I guess it is. ;)

I don't know man. Some people might infer from your posting barrages that you are a nutjob. But we know that's not the case. ;)

If your going in for heart surgery, but your doctor has trouble bellying up to your examination table just to give you an examination? What would you infer?

If you consistently see him fumble his stethoscope, pen, ipad, notes, etc.? What would you infer?

If his fingers are so fat that he can't handle the scalpel anymore, what would you infer?

If a guy comes into work every day hung over? What would you infer.

If a guy is charged with getting a portion of a team project ready for presentation, but consistently comes unprepared? What would you infer?

When you have a guy on your project team who is constantly out sick, but you're more than sure it's self induced? What would you infer?

When you have a guy on your staff who is the highest paid, but is always out sick come presentation time? What would you infer?

If a guy on your staff wins the lottery, then he's constantly out sick, never has his work done, comes to work consistently unprepared, and you are left holding the bag???? What would you infer?

Might you then.... when it's really oersonal, and personally impacting you in a negative way, cause you to make a few reasonable judgements about this guy's character?

p.s. you seem to be on here quite a bit? Lotta whining about where folks should or should not post. Seems kinda ..... judgemental? Dictatorial? Repressive? Condemning? Potentially evil????? ;)

ok ok. Th a t was a bit strongly worded. I take back stubborn. ;)

You should see me on a jury!

Guess which of the 12 Angry Men I would be?

You'd be surprised. I just play an ******* on the internet, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I do have to admit, when somebody tells me I can't make judgements about repeated bad behavior that effects so many other people, I get my dander up. That I can't draw reasonable inferences based on facts and a clear pattern of deceptive behavior? I get my back up. That somebody can behave in a destructive manner, put others around them into crisis, play the victim, then have other PC PEOPLE tell me it's unfair, mean, intolerant, immature, or otherwise to make reasonable judgement calls ( other than claiming a guy is high, which he clearly was ;) , I begin to wonder what f***ing planet some live on???

LOL. But yes! I love to state some opinions with a certain...... flair?

I never thought I'd say this to anyone RSDD, but you might want to cool it with the massive posting frenzy.

I don't have any problem with someone being engaged in the forum, in fact I welcome engagement, it's the only way anyone learns after all. But I look into several different threads and see you having made the last 4-5 posts that were made on all of them. Even for me that's a bit excessive.

You're giving the impression of that guy who starts a conversation with someone just to go off on a raving tangent, the other guy gets bored and moves on, and he's still sitting there carrying on by himself at 90 miles a minute.

That person is not... a healthy person. Do you understand?

Dojji,

Fair enough. But when I get home after starting my day at 4:00 a.m., working hard, & then watching the game, I often need to let off a little steam. I admit to being a high energy guy, who needs to release. Often times, I am trying to be a bit provocative, to keep things going. Some of it was coming from a dying board, that needed life suport, but I do like to mix it up. Generally speaking, I mean what I say, but often make it a bit inflamatory with the rhetorical flourish (euphemistically speaking ;)

Then again.. it could be as simple as that dumb dog that moves into your neighborhood, who has to piss all over every Bush, tree, & hydrant until the damn thing feels comfortable & just takes a damned nap. The settling in goes a lot qucker if you scratch behind my ears. ;)

Woof. I'LL chill.

To follow protocol and not skip over an existing thread I've come all the way back to this thread. So can anyone inform me as to Panda's current status?

There is very little new news about Panda, to answer your question with a bit less frustrating glibness. I think the media has more or less left him alone since he stopped busting his belts in public, and if I had to guess, I'd say it was fine by him.

There was a recent article, I think on ESPN, where a SF Giants source (I think)was cited as saying that Sandoval didn't want to sign with the Giants because he knew he would be on a dietary restriction for five years if he did. Sandoval was quoted as saying that he didn't want to be in a place where he "couldn't be himself". I guess we all know what that means: eat til you can't even walk onto the field. Sandoval's lack of professionalism never ceases to amaze me.
