Just saw the replay of the grand slam. That's what the Yankees get for making their stadium "cool" by making it easy to hit home runs.

That thing went out right at the end of the 2nd deck where that wind tunnel effect takes over. That was nothing more than a fly ball that was not even headed for the warning track before the wind tunnel got it and send it over the short porch. Clearly Iche initially did not think he was even going to have to go back to the track and he does not misjudge fly balls. That park is a joke and it is about time it came back to bite the Spanks in the ass. That was just too funny and immense retribution for what that s*** park does. The place is an embarrassment.

I don't like punching in the ticket early, especially after 2011, but man I LOVE this team. We're so making the playoffs and I can see this team going all the way. The past couple years have been frustrating, disappointing, shocking, etc. I finally feel content with this Red Sox team. Whatever happens this year, I'm proud of everything they have done so far. I love being a Red Sox fan.

Rays lose, 7.5 game lead.

We are running away now. Time to start talking about magic numbers to clinch stuff.

Those stupid rays better watch out... Baltimore is gaining on them. Only two games behind and they are playing the white sox currently,

That's almost as good as his slash line against the Red Sox prior to this season.

Napoli vs. Yankees updated: 333/447/601 - 1049 OPS.

14 for the division, 12 for playoffs.

Ellsbury is in Boston right now getting his right foot examined from the foul ball.

Bradley in today, as well as Bogaerts and Lavarnway.

Really hope Ellsbury is ok. I'm sure he'll be fine. He did play in game 1 against the Yankees, and after playing 9 innings, singled, stole 2nd, and scored on a ball to RF from 2nd. If it was anything more than a "take 3-4, maybe 5 days off" thing, I can't imagine that he'd be in.

Bradley starting in CF tonite--just in time for Yankee stadium. His last at bat in Boston, he hit one over the Red Sox bullpen against a LHd pitcher. Hope he has the same success in NY.

You have to give credit to Cherington and the FO for all those FA signings--all have worked out except Dempster. Vic and Drew have stepped up their game lately when it counted. Gomes and Napoli have had big hits. And they finally got a rabbit who immediately contributed on the bases. Peavy and Lackey are competitors who can pitch big games. Uehara is unreal. You never know how well a setup guy can close--until you try. Right, Bard?

It's hard to get chemistry--the on the field type which wins games. You never know it until you have it. And they have it. Plus they have some solid prospects in the minors. The coaching has been superb. This team can go all the way.

I know you didn't mean anything by it, but saying "they have some solid prospects int he minors" is one of the biggest understatements I've heard in a while.

JBJ, Bogaerts, Cecchini, Betts, Owens, Ball, Ranaudo, Barnes, Swihart. That's 9 guys who probably will break top 100 prospect listings next year. Plus you've got Webster, RDLR, who will probably grow into a really good late inning reliever, Workman, Britton a very nice lefty reliever, and a complete darkhorse in Manuel Margot, who some scouts say is the next Xander Bogaerts.

f*** Doubront. Looking like an L tonight with his dumbass on the hill. Hopefully they win tomorrow and Sunday. Once Buchholz comes back go with a 4 man rotation of Buchholz-Lester-Peavy-Lackey. f*** Dempster and Doubront.

The above quote was posted at 7:51pm. Really?

If you doubted the Sox, f*** you.

Go Cleveland, take the 2nd WC. f***ing cupwake schedule of Mets, Twins, WhiteSox for 17 of their whatever remaining games.

Exactly right.

In his defense that was some pretty epic bed-s***ing by Doubront.

I know, I saw it. That particular poster never has anything positive to say. With the way this team has been playing, I think it's stupid to say they are going to lose in early innings.

A) Get off of Dempster's nuts.

B ) The reliever-to-starter experiment was something Bard wanted, and it's over. Let it go.
