Idk, Washington was 1 strike away from winning the world series twice. If he didn't get David Freese'd and Lance Berkman'd, things might look different. I hear he has some actual bad managing decisions sometimes though.

 

Side thought: I still can't believe that Berkman went on the Rangers so soon after he got that legendary hit to win Game 6 of the WS against them... He did more to hurt the Rangers by tieing Game 6 than he will ever do to help them...

Idk, Washington was 1 strike away from winning the world series twice. If he didn't get David Freese'd and Lance Berkman'd, things might look different. I hear he has some actual bad managing decisions sometimes though.

 

Side thought: I still can't believe that Berkman went on the Rangers so soon after he got that legendary hit to win Game 6 of the WS against them... He did more to hurt the Rangers by tieing Game 6 than he will ever do to help them...

Washington gave away game 6 of thatWorld Series at least twice. He outsmarted himself and lost a championship. Grady Little got fired for far less. If Washington had done that in Boston he would have been fired before the clubhouse had been cleared.
