Funny how carter was looking breaking ball ball in that at bat now that you mention it. Williams said he was trying to go up and away with the heat but he went from the slide step with Henderson on base and pulled it right into the happy zone.

Funny how little things kill a rally. Aviles should never have swung at the first pitch in his last at bat. Had never seen that pitcher. No idea what he would throw. Swung at a ball to boot. Had he gotten ahead he might have been able to at least put the ball in play and get us another run.
