  1. The 2025 outfield should be LF - Duran CF - Rafeala RF - Anthony reserve - refsynder Yoshida and abreau are trading chips.
  2. You put trout at DH and you get veteran leadership for all our youngsters and he and devers are a very deadly lefty- righty combo in the middle of your lineup! Devers will see more fastballs than he has seen in years and his numbers will explode This is the righty bat that makes our lineup dangerous
  3. I would do trout plus some cash for yoshida and gioletta!
  4. He apparently had had a bad shoulder and thumb. Those would affect his swing
  5. I think the scouts over estimated yoshida’s fielding ability. I think we need to pay 40-50mm of the contract if we hope to move yoshida. we will get a prospect ranked 20-30 in a team’s list, but in rookie ball or low A! the important thing is to move yoshida out of town and open up the DH spot
  6. Excellent point and we have replacement talent in the funnel now
  7. The only way to find out is to contact him, but St. Louis has very little pitching in the pipeline and the quality arms they do have, I am sure any GM would want a king’s ransom for.
  8. you are correct sir, the gioletta signing was completely bizarre. It did not fit any organizational philosophy (either budget reduction or development path) and in hindsight turned out to be exactly why we should avoid signing veteran retreads. I truly thought our organizational philosophy was built on purposefully ignoring the veteran retreads and focusing on young and inexperienced pitching with huge upside. That we could develop and integrate into our lineup, the gioletta signing was a complete aberration of our pitching philosophy and cost us tremendously in 2024!
  9. Should the duran be the next guy the Red Sox try to extend? Just leave him in left field for the next 6-8 years??? Or is 2024 a one year aberration???
  10. I think the word on the streets was hang’em Chaim over valued his players and prospects. We are in the unique position that hang’em chaim already over values our players and prospects, therefore we should be an ideal trading partner for him!
  11. The Red Sox management says that they going to be aggressive this off season in acquiring pitching. but Red Sox management does not want to be burned by huge pitcher contracts, like the terrible sale contract!!! And we have a surplus of middle infielders and left handed bats, then trades are the most logical avenue to pursue in order to acquire more pitching!
  12. Buffet and Charlie munger =180 years old experience. Makes your head hurt!!! i would be happy if bres-slow could time the trade and free agent market with that kind of success
  13. The good news about hang’em Chaim getting promoted in st Louis is we have a ready made trade partner for some left handed bats!!!!!
  14. I have not seen Bremmer pitch yet, but Arnold is left handed and has decent stuff
  15. What a great run buffet had though
  16. Maybe the blue jays would like to trade some of their pitchers for some quality prospects??
  17. I think the guys from the athletic are more concerned with shock value and getting subscriptions than actually doing good investigative journalism they put two and two together and get 7
  18. If we got any of the following: the 2025 draft is going to be incredible : OF - jace laviolette of Texas a&m OF - cam cannevella of Clemson pitcher - Jamie Arnold of FSU
  19. Perales, blaze and Elmer
  20. MLB just did their end of season top 100 and we got 3 of the top 10! And 4 of the top 25! but I spent some time reading the profile they wrote on Mayer. Basically they said he has instincts and a good first step, but is slow and some scouts think he would be better off at 3rd base!! I know Mayer is not ready for the major leagues yet, but at some point in 2025, if he stays healthy, Mayer will be ready.
  21. The athletic recommends prying the cardinals closer away for the prospects that hang’em Chaim helped acquire
  22. Rather than sign a veteran Japanese pitcher with declining velocity, we need to call our friends in Pittsburgh. They have 2 pitching prospects and we should investigate prying one of them away from Pittsburgh. (Braxton Ashcraft and bubba chandler) Adding either of them is only going to cost us a few prospects and/or expendable major leaguers and bring a better quality pitcher into the organization than we currently have in the system
  23. Is it possible to be more terrible at 1B than what we got now?????
  24. Are we 1 percenters ?????
