    here is my projected roster to open 2025 C-Teel, Wong 1B-Casas 2B-Story SS-Mayer 3B-Devers Extra IF-Grissom LF-Duran or Abreu CF-Rafaela RF-O'Neill or another 1 year FA signing Duran or Abreu or Refsynder the 4th OF I still see Anthony needing another year at AAA given his age. Rotation: Bello Houck Crawford Gioloto Pivetta or another FA on a 1 yr deal Bullpen--I'm not even going go there because there are so balls in the air. We are using guys I have never heard of this year with some success but I don't expect either Martin or Janssen to return so I don't even want to guess what our BP will be. This roster though should be able to compile another .500 or near record and the payroll will keep Mr Scrooge happy.

    why are we all fooling ourselves --Sox are going to finish somewhere between 80-82 to 82-80 and Henry will be satisfied especially if Breslow can unload some more payroll at the deadline although with this new expanded playoff format that may not happen either.

    As long as the Sox linger around the .500 mark the miser could care less. This team needs to hit rock bottom before anything positive will happen. Myself I have totally stopped watching them or caring about this team. i was once a very proud Red Sox fan but I could care less now the way this team is operating.

    so you are saying we should cut the payroll even further? How did the Rangers, Astros, and even the Blue Jays do last year with those payrolls?? Nice cherrypicking though.

    We all know that extension was simply to placate RSN after letting Mookie get away. If you want to go on defending the miser go right ahead but count me out. UPp to 2018 Henry was a great owner. Since then he has lost total interest in the team as far as I am concerned.

    John Henry is NOT going to spend big EVER again. He's too busy looking over the top of his glasses to keep them from wearing out.

    it wouldn't surprise me if Breslow signed Hill after he finishes coaching his kid's Little League team.

    nobody can say that Breslow is not picking up SP. He just signed another BBB Brad Keller I would guess as a result of the Whitlock injury.

    Red Sox have had 3 of their starting 5-SP spend significant time on the DL already this year--Bello, Whitlock, Pivetta. Who could have guessed that ?

    while it is true Grissom " may' get better this is not a win in the trade for the Sox given that they are on the hook for 17 million
