    they'll add NONE probably other than a Kluber type or 2 for "depth". I actually expect them to bring back Pivetta because he is fairly durable and will be cheap.

    Giolito is actually 39 for ONE {if we are lucky}. the real scary thought is that since we have THREE pitchers signed for next year who won't throw a pitch in 2024 we probably won't be spending on P again this offseason

    we went into this series vs the WORST TEAM IN MLB with a .500 record. i thought we would be 3 games above .500 after this series. Boy was I ever wrong.

    we won't be trading ANY of those guys. With a .500 record in this expanded playoff format the FO will sell the fact we are still in a W/C chase like they have done in the past few seasons

    Ummm not really. When Yoshida was signed almost 100% of MLB felt it was a GROSS overpay. That was hardly the case with Yamamoto.

    Hey we can get Hill back soon. His kid's LL team should be done in about a month and maybe Scrooge can splurge a mil or so for him

    signing only 1 of the 3 was mismanagement. If Mayer, Teal, and Anthony all turn out are you going to be happy if we only keep 1 of the 3 after a few years?

    i never said the the Sox were as badly managed as the CWS but you just chose to take it that way. PS-I watched Mookie play SS last night and he didn't look a bit out of place. Letting him bolt was the ONLY reason Devers got that extension but the $$ went to the wrong guy. Oh and Yamamoto DOMINATED the 1st place NYY last night.

    i watched one of my very few MLB games last night NYY vs LAD. Yamamoto is the real deal but Henry would not buck up.

    so what? This is RESULTS ONLY league and after more than 1/3 of the season the Sox are nothing but a .500 team. Don't any of the AL East teams have injuries? The Yanks haven't had Cole all year, the Orioles have missed their closer all year, and the Rays have had a lot of injuries too.
