    that is twisting my word pal. what I said was the Sox have been hanging around .500 or just below for the 5th straight year now and have never been sellers at the deadline as they keep trying to convince fans like you that they still have a shot at a W/C. They let guys like Xander, JDM, and a few others walk for nothing but low draft picks.

    tonight is exactly what pisses me off about the Red Sox. We continue to middle around .500 just enough to make fans and the FO think we are on the right track and never bad enough to address the real issues. I am sure we will be sitting somewhere between a .475-5.25 pace at this time next year after finishing 4th or 5th in the division this year. Until this team hits true rock bottom nothing is going to change.

    we are better off just keeping Pivetta rather than getting a low ranked prospect. He is generally durable and if he is a #4-5 guy we could do worse and he should come pretty cheap and on a short term deal. The other 3- I take whatever we can get for them and hopefully Breslow targets pitching in return.

    Biggio is better than what we are using at 2b right now. the price for him is about right for Henry
