    Janssen has been horribly recently hitting .134 over his most recent spell and only .212 overall with 6 hr's. good defensive C but spends a lot of time on the DL. If this means Wong will go to 2B much that will show how desperate the Sox have become.

    we lost 2 out of 3 to one of the VERY WORST teams in all of MLB and gave up 20 runs today with 4 errors. yep-no reason to sell.

    i didn't say that. What i said is we should trade for a young COST CONTROLLED SP -not a rental. this team needs to continue with the long term plan.

    ask the team that acquired him last year what they thought of him. I was probably too harsh saying he stinks but he is pretty much a .500 pitcher in my books. There is a reason he has bounced around the past few years. Sox need to target a young cost controlled SP who fits in the age group the team is building around not an average rental SP

    I just saw that Noah Syndergaard is planning a comeback in 2025. Perfectly fits the criteria of guys Sox like to sign. 1 year deal for under 10 million.

    the Sox MIGHT make the 3rd W/C spot but VERY UNLIKELY to have a deep postseason run. stay the course. we need YOUNG cost controlled SP not rentals like Eovaldi and Kikuchi, etc

    the facts undisputed are that Yorke and Jordan are NOT MLB players. The other fact is that Anthony is still too young and needs more time. Move him to AAA first. As for Teal with way Wong is performing there is no need to call him up yet unless it is in garbage time in Sept. I am fine with bringing Mayer up anytime. THOSE are the facts UNDISPUTED !!

    Sox won't be drafting a SP with their 1st rd pick so why worry about this?

    Why ?? We handed the 2B job to Grissom right away and how did that work out? Mayer was the top ranked player in his draft class. He deserves a shot to start way before Grissom.
