    well i was banned from that site by stating that JH was all about cutting the payroll and building from the farm on entry level contracts. Tampa had had some success under that plan but it was Friedman NOT Bloom who was the brains behind that. The regulars on that forum but like CanaboyKen { know it all} denied that JH was cutting payroll and i was banned for being too "realistic" to what has since proven to be true. I was far less antogonist to many on this forum but many on that board were FO apologists and I got banned. Splinter was around and knows how it played out.

    JH is thinking solely about his wallet and i totally agree they are a middle market team now.I am sure he would love to get Story off the books somehow too.

    that was my exact point in starting this thread. Maybe you missed the point--this was not on Bloom and it won't be on Breslow. 100% on John Henry. Face RSN John. YOU and YOU ALONE are the problem.

    Well now it should be obvious that whoever is in charge that John Henry has put the financial shackles on the payroll. Enjoy your 3-5 years Craig because you don't have a chance in hell at doing any better than your predecessor.

    well they lost me a die-hard long term Red Sox fan a long long time ago. It is obvious that John Henry thinks that putting a 80-85 win team forth each year will keep "sucker" Red Sox fans happy. I actually hope the Sox finish as a 70-75 win team this year so the fans finally revolt.
