    why is everyone on here so keen to trade 1 or more of our top 3 prospects? They should all be in Boston by this time next year and will all offer significant years of cost control which will please John Henry to no end. We could always add to our P through FA but of course we know Henry is against that philosophy. As long as the team sits around 82-88 wins he knows that RSN will be satisfied.

    So far Breslow has followed the company line perfectly. he has add a couple of pieces we need [sP and RH bat] that didn't cost a lot of $$ and we added a young P prospect. what else were you expecting?

    want to know something cooler Splinter? Sox have a suspended game with the Jays on Aug 25th. The 1st batter for the Jays was scheduled to be Danny Jansen ! Can he hit for the Jays in that spot and then hop over to the Sox dugout.

    Breslow has me scared when talking about Priestner who we just traded for 'he misses bats {20 k's in 31.2 IP} and keeps the ball on the ground" 7 HR'S allowed in those 31.2 innings

    i think Paxton was a good pickup that didn't cost much. It is actually more than I though we would get.
