    i admit to not know much about these guys.. However I don't think the Sox need any more # as our staff is already full of bottom end guys. Tanner Houck could be #3 but we need a true #1 and #2 if we are ever truly ever going to compete

    face it--remaining "competitive" does seem to be all Henry is concerned with as long as he stays well under the cap and RSN doesn't revolt too badly

    Henry wants to be as much under the cap as possible as long the team remains "competitive". have you not figured that out yet?

    i hope Red Sox fans are enjoying this W/C race chase. Once again it looks like we will be coming up short and now stand to lose our impending FA's for uninspiring draft pick compensation. I guess this is what Breslow meant when he said he would be taking a clear direction at the deadline. Enjoy the comp draft picks everyone.

    come on Moon. all the other MLB teams know we are about to have a glut in the OF and Abreu probably doesn't fit. that will not help his trade value

    Castillo is the only SP the M'S may want to part with but he has significant miles on his wing. I would stay away and go for a younger SP

    this is all noise this thought of the Sox actually doing anything major this offseason. Look for a few under the radar FA 1 year contract signings along with Breslow trying to offload the Story and Yoshida contracts.
