    It is on Raffy being a difference in the postseason against the Yankees, and I don’t think it’s much of a stretch to speculate either, which I’ve been saying since the final out was made.

    One problem I see is mostly you are not trading the same position for the same position, so just, because an OF has a higher value than a pitcher doesn’t necessarily mean to me it would be a so called overpay. Wants, needs, and what a team will actually do you can’t assign a value to IMO.

    True that the Red Sox are always interested, but Brez has shown he will make a trade with Sale, and getting the Cro Man, but he hasn’t shown he will lock up a long term, big money FA. I believe he knew Bregman would only be a year rental, and then would deal with the situation when it come up again, which is now.

    According to Cotillo, and McAdams the Red Sox, and Arizona have discussed a trade for Marte. Also said the Red Sox have shown that word interest in some catcher from the White Sox named Teel.🤫

    Mayer is still SUSPECT both health wise, and production on the field. This will be a big year for him to see if he can stay healthy most of all, and then produce on the field to be more than just a platoon player. He has lost a lot of developmental time, because of injuries, and is behind where he could, or should be.

    First of all I don’t value all this arb stuff, and team control like you do depending on the situation of course. I know you like to play make believe' and there is nothing wrong with that, but I doubt there is no discussion going on about any such TARDE anyway. I don’t believe the Kut Man is going to make, or break the Red Sox season, or make, or break any trade.

    I guess to me it would depend on what the bids were? None of these top FA are going to be cheap as Bregman wasn’t.

    I doubt the rest of the league values the Kut Man as highly as you do either.
