  1. Bogey was in the same situation KC is now, and was in the same situation Raffy is now when the Red Sox signed Story. Two entirely different situations, and two entirely different outcomes.
  2. I agree, but what do you think is more important to JH the business side of things, or WL?
  3. I agree, but pitchers wins, and losses lead to teams wins, and losses, and every game is different, because the situations are different. I’ve always said that I start with a pitchers wins, and losses, and then it depends on how much digging I want to go into from there. The eye test can be big at determining things like in the last two games you mentioned. Cro Man definitely pitched better than Gio, but got the loss, because it was a different situation.
  4. I didn’t have to watch every game Jeter played, because others did that. Someone is always watching every move by every player in every game.
  5. I think Cora has a direct line to JH anyway.
  6. Call it what you want, but two entirely different situations, and Most Importantly Cora hasn’t told, or even asked Raffy to try 1B.
  7. KC is a Rookie who will do anything to stay in the Big Leagues, and Raffy is an established veteran. Two entirely different situations. KC also played many different positions in the minor leagues, which is an entirely different situation also.
  8. The only way Alex Cora gets on the hot seat is if JH was to put him there, and I don’t see that happening anytime soon. What the O’s did has NO bearing on what JH will do, and I don’t believe Brez has enough power to do anything anyway.
  9. That’s where the good old eye test comes in.
  10. What doesn’t make sense is it appears that Masa isn’t DH anywhere.
  11. I don’t think Brez wants to move Devers to 1B to get Masa into the lineup. Masa is out in exile, and as far as I know hasn’t even been the DH anywhere.
  12. After winning one game Moon is back after a long absence posting an Wildcard update. More accurate the Red Sox are behind 6 teams in the L column 2-4 games, and tied with two others in the L column, so not quite the rosy picture you are presenting.
  13. Yeah, but why stop there just DFA him, and really show him who’s boss.🤭
  14. The way I look at the stats that actually show up on the scoreboard, and then actually lead to an W, or L count the most.
  15. Not bad for a insubordinate, bad diva teammate.🤫
  16. Official scorers are a lot more favorable towards the hitters then they used to be IMO.
  17. The negativity On here is mild compared to other venues as is the hot seat for Cora unless you think the Red Sox are competing well Right?
  18. Cora is safe, because JH likes him. Most likely Cora was hired back the first time, because of JH, and most likely his last extension was, because of JH.
  19. Something most likely would have happened to Sale if he would have stayed in Boston last year. He had to get away from the bad injury juju in Boston.
  20. Both Story, and KC are big holes in the lineup right now.
  21. I guess it depends on if KC gets moved to 1B, or not too.
  22. Both Story, and Masa have 2 more years left on their contracts too after this one. At least Sale’s contract would have been up after last year, and after Brez paid Atlanta $17M for Sale to win a CY for them.
