  1. I would say now that going into ST this is the best the Nation has felt about things in a long time.
  2. It works as is, but was Durbin the best the Red Sox could have done? All the talking about trading with Arizona, Houston, or the Cubs, and to me Durbin was a settle at the very least. Cheap, and nothing substantial given up.
  3. There will be comparisons all year long on what Devers is doing, what Bregman is doing, and what Alonso is doing compared to Con Man.
  4. Wow! I’m so relieved BTV said we did well. Enough gloves now with IKF, but having enough bats will be the question.
  5. Financial flexibility is always good, but so is power, and production.
  6. Is Milwaukee loaded with IF that they would trade this guy being only 25, and controlled.
  7. I’ve already said that I don’t care one way, or the other. Things tend to work themselves out, and I’ll just wait till the opening day lineup to see.
  8. I don’t think there will be this constant rotation through the DH spot like everyone thinks even as the team is constructed today.
  9. We’ll see on that as the Red Sox have already said they would rather put Mayer at 3B.
  10. Durbin predominately played 3B last year, so where in Boston?
  11. Durbin it is! Durbin comes, and Harrison goes. 6 player trade also involves DHam.
  12. Always penciled in? That’s a no. After the Bregman deal fell through? More likely.
  13. I certainly don’t, and I don’t think asking the question is worrying.
  14. Like I said you never know what Cora will do with the roster, and you don’t know what Brez will do to get to the opening day 26, so that’s why I just for the most part just let it play out.
  15. Why do you worry so much about that stuff? I just let it play out. Like I said before I don’t care what happens to Abreu, or Duran , or Masa for that matter. The opening day lineup will be what it is.
  16. The Cubs are said to be interested in Zac Galleon, and don’t want a pitcher who hasn’t pitched in two years. The Red Sox would do that. The Cubs also want a OF. Want to add Duran, or Abreu? Once again a Big NO.
  17. Masa is the conundrum. I don’t know if he is going to be on the opening day roster, but if he is I don’t see him just being a backup DH at $18M.
  18. BTV accepts, but I doubt very much the Cubs would. Big NO.
  19. Yes Duran is the worst of the 4 OF, but you never know what Cora will do.
  20. Possibly, but I’ll believe it when it actually happens. Wait, and see. Wait, and see.
  21. As Duran gets older, and slower he will have a harder time tracking down those butterflies.
  22. I think it’s pretty obvious why we need a 3B.
  23. No he actually signed IKF. Assuming must be you new hang up word flavor of the week.
  24. The roster as is today is what’s not assuming.
